6 Cozy Fall Recipes with Immunity-Boosting Spiced Honey

It’s getting chilly out there. What better way to enjoy the warm, comforting foods of fall than to add a little spice (and a much-needed immunity boost)?

Our Sunshine in a Cup is a delicious Spiced Immunity Honey made with an Ayurvedic blend of spices, organic goji berry extract and, of course, raw Canadian honey. We made this elixir to help soothe and support your body, boost your immune system, and lower inflammation - all while making it versatile enough to be enjoyed on its own or in your favourite recipes.

Here are some of our favourites.

1. Spiced Honey Apple Cider

A mug of spicy, tangy honey apple cider is bound to feel like a warm hug on a cold night. Add one tablespoon to a cup of apple cider and watch the flavours explode!

For extra flavour, stir or dip with a tasty cinnamon stick!

2. Spicy Honey Oatmeal

A healthy way to start the day - with an added kick. Drizzle a spoonful of Sunshine in a Cup (and an optional pinch of cinnamon) into your bowl of oatmeal for a spicy morning boost.

3. Honey Pumpkin Soup

A fall classic for lunch or dinner, simply puree a mix of vegetable broth, fresh pumpkin, coconut milk and any desired spices (adding extra turmeric is always a bonus). Once nice and soupy, add your tablespoon of Spiced Immunity Honey.

Spice Notes: When adding your favourite spices to the Honey Pumpkin Soup blend, keep in mind that the Spiced Immunity Honey already contains these spices: Organic turmeric, organic cinnamon, organic cardamom, organic ginger, organic clove, organic nutmeg, organic cayenne, organic black pepper.

4. Spiced Honey Roasted Butternut Squash

Say this recipe name 3 times without twisting your tongue!

We love butternut squash in the fall, and can never wait to enjoy our honey with it. For a tasty, spicy squash dish, cut your butternut squash into cubes and toss with olive oil, cinnamon, salt and pepper.

Roast in your oven or air fryer until tender and then drizzle them with Spiced Immunity Honey.

You can also replicate this recipe to create a delicious dish of Spiced Immunity Honey Roasted Carrots or Spiced Honey Sweet Potato Fries. Same instructions, minus the squash.

5. Spiced Pie

A festive dessert with a little more bite, fill your pie crust with fruit pieces (one fruit or many) like apples, pears or pumpkin. Bake as normal, then drizzle with Sunshine in a Cup.

6. Honey Apple Cider Donuts

A special treat for yourself or your loved ones, create a traditional donut dough and fry your donuts as desired. Then, for the glaze, combine powdered sugar with our Spiced Immunity Honey.

Happy Honeying!

Sunshine in a Cup Spiced Immunity Honey is a delicious, healthy way to add nutrition, immune support and a warm flavour boost to your morning, afternoon or evening dishes so be sure to keep a jar handy throughout the chilly season.
